Course Description

Do you want to feel more confident when communicating with native speakers of English? Do you want to better understand the actual grammar that native speakers of English use when speaking? This 8-week, online course is for you! This course is designed for intermediate-level students who want to improve their grammar, pronunciation, and overall communication skills in English. The specific content of the course will be partially determined by the needs of the students. At the beginning of the course, the teacher will assess the language skills of each student and then provide specific feedback to each student about what they need to focus on throughout the course. Each weekly lesson will then give students real-life opportunities to improve their communication skills in English and learn how to apply those skills to their job, schooling, or standardized tests such as TOEFL and IELTS.

Who will benefit from this course?

This course is designed for students who want direct speaking and listening practice with an American teacher. It is designed to help students who…

1) want to improve their listening and speaking scores on standardized tests such as the IELTS

2) want to improve their listening and speaking skills for their current job or schooling

3) want to feel more confident communicating in English with native speakers

How will this course benefit you?

One of the most valuable aspects of this course is the direct attention and feedback that each student will get with an American teacher. The course is designed to have a limited number of students so that each student gets direct feedback from the teacher along with weekly practice with the teacher and other students. The other great benefit of this course is that each student will get a detailed assessment of the speaking and listening skills they need to improve. This will help each student to see exactly how they are progressing throughout the course and how they can continue to use their newly learned skills after completing the course.
