Diamond Ragin

Diamond Ragin graduated from East Carolina University in June 2022. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Asian Studies, as well as a Master’s degree in International Studies. While pursuing her degree she participated in and facilitated several programs that served to develop a welcoming environment for international exchange students as well as other individuals with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Her efforts to promote inclusion and equity on campus were recognized in 2020 when she was awarded with the East Carolina University Chancellor Horizon Diversity and Inclusion Award. She has a passion for assisting in the cultivation of programs that aim to promote international student success in their educational and professional careers, provide an inclusive environment and promote awareness of the vast cultural demographic on the UNC Charlotte campus.
