Nicole Ianieri

Nicole Ianieri holds nearly two decades of experience in international higher education, throughout which she has demonstrated her commitment to serving students, faculty, and staff through various roles: instructor, advisor, mentor, and program administrator. A First-Generation leader, Nicole firmly believes in the inherent value of all people whom she serves. She is driven to uphold campus equity and committed to dismantling systems of oppression. Her efforts to promote social justice, inclusion, and equity on campus were formally recognized in 2021 through the conferral of her former institution’s diversity and inclusion award for staff.

Nicole brings to her role at UNC Charlotte significant management experience that has encompassed the direction of programs and teams both large and small across a variety of institutional types, including the conceptualization and actualization of short-term specialized programs, online programming and other non-credit initiatives, as well as oversight of specialized accreditation. She values collaboration as integral to her work and is excited at the prospect of creating opportunities for partnerships, growth, and understanding between members of the UNC Charlotte community and beyond.
